Barcelona's Victor Valdes 'Satisfied' With Performance Against Rubin Kazan

Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes said he was "satisfied" with their own performance and the team, after scoring the champions away Rubin Kazan in the Russian Champions League UEFA.

Valdes had to be at his best to deny the Russians on a few occasions in a group that is proving to be one of the strictest in this year's tournament.

"The temperature was very difficult to play. The cold was intense, but our doctors have done a good job. The cold is no excuse though," he said.

"They [Rubin] is a very good team. We had our chances but could not score. I am satisfied with my work and for the whole team."

FC Barcelona will host the next Inter, before having to travel to Ukraine to take on Dynamo Kiev.
