Adrian Mutu's £15m Chelsea Fine Suspended Until November
A Swiss court has handed the Romanian striker a small olive branch…
The Court of Arbitration for Sport upheld the decision of FIFA before they resulted in a fine of 15 million pounds by Adrian Mutu - Fiorentina striker was ordered to pay former club Chelsea the massive sum after testing positive for cocaine in 2004 .
But at last there is some consolation for Mutu: according to his agent, a Swiss court has suspended the fine until November.
The player's representative, Victor Becali, told Sky Sports Italia: "The suspension of the fine is a positive decision for Mutu, but is not yet time to party as there is much to be done.
"The suspension lasts until November, the court may request further documents and the case will proceed.
"We hope that Adrian does not have to pay."....
