Fergie sets sights on Obertan debut

Sir Alex Ferguson expects to be giving Gabriel Obertan his Manchester United debut in six weeks' time.

Man United did Obertan a low-key purchases during the summer, when he broke the former France Under-21 star from Bordeaux for £ 3 million.

Although Obertan was once considered one of the most popular youth properties in Europe, the end has been blighted by injury and came to Old Trafford with a spinal problem which required surgery.
