New owners to take over Portsmouth
Sulaiman Al Fahim is set to sell his majority stake in Portsmouth to a consortium being led by Saudi Arabian businessman Al Al-Faraj.
Al Fahim only managed to complete his takeover of Pompey just over a month ago, but has not provided the necessary investment in the club yet.
The current owner has promised to pump £50 million into the South Coast club, but Pompey were unable to play their players' salaries on time in September.
The 32-year-old is adamant that he is still able to provide the promised investment, but also admitted that Al-Faraj is set to be confirmed as the club's new owner.
"I think by Monday or Tuesday (Al-Faraj) will be on the board," Al Fahim told The Observer. "His consortium will be a major shareholder. And I will keep a minority."...[source]
