Madrid Different Without CR9

Marseille - Citadel Real Madrid struggled dismiss public opinion about the central role of Cristiano Ronaldo in the team. But what power, Los blancos are appearing significantly 'different' when not reinforced CR9 player's nickname.

So the weak point of this Madrid apparently read by a qualifier opponent in the Champions League group Olympique Marseille. Coach Les Phoceens (nicknamed Marseille) Didier Deschamp admitted last listened Los Merengues action against third division team Alcorcón.

Was surprised to see noticeable results that 4-0 defeat to Madrid, Deschamp finally realized that the fight was not back to Los Galaticos reinforced one of the most incandescent star (Ronaldo).

"I was very surprised to know Alcorcón Madrid lost, especially when listening to the score," said Deschamp.

"But I look at one another, there was still no name Ronaldo in formation. Madrid, of course, different without his presence," said the former Juventus coach.

Deschamp do not think it's a strange thing. He understood that not only Madrid player has a lock. "Ronaldo is always interesting opponent when present in the field. It makes the other players can move more freely," he said as quoted by Goal, Saturday, (31/10/2009).

"Ronaldo can make a difference with their own abilities. It is a natural thing when a team has several players lock. You can see how Liverpool with Fernando Torres and Steven Gerrard or with Yoann Gourcuff of Bordeaux and Marouane Chamakh," he continued.
