UEFA overturn Eduardo ban

Arsenal have won their appeal against the two-match ban handed to Eduardo, governing body UEFA have confirmed.

Croatia striker was initially suspended for allegedly diving to win a penalty against Celtic in qualifying for the Champions League Emirates in late August.

Eduardo successfully convert the penalty himself and the Gunners won the game 3-1.

However, Scottish FA chief executive Gordon Smith was quick to call for action against Eduardo and UEFA subsequently initiated an investigation that the Gunners chief Arsene Wenger has criticized as witch a "search".
