Problem Eto'o, Barca Ready to take the Law Line
Barcelona - Samuel Eto'o to Inter Milan move still leaves a polemic. It is said that Eto'o is demanding compensation for the exchange with Zlatan Ibrahimovic at the end of the transfer market last season.
In previous news, Eto'o note demanding the 15% of the previous transfer rate is said to be mutually agreed. However, the strength of Barcelona through the President refused the deal. Apart from Eto'o refused to meet demand, Laporta is ready to accept legal means to solve this problem.
"In the international transfer, we believe that demand for Eto'o, 15% is simply not true," Laporta was quoted as Canal +, on Wednesday (23/9/2009).
"We will listen to our lawyers for advice and then decide. If the claim is true, then and always obey the law," he said.
In this case, Eto'o requested 3 million euros as part of an exchange agreement with Ibra. Unfortunately, Barca argue if the agreement is valid if Eto'o move to Spanish club, no club outside the jurisdiction of the La Liga.
The case Eto'o experienced was not the first time against the footballer. In 2008, then, similar cases had experienced a removable Albert Luque Deportivo La Coruna to the English club Newcastle United. This case should be resolved ultimately through the courts.
