Henry says Adebayor showed a lack of class

Thierry Henry has criticised Emmanuel Adebayor for a lack of class after his celebrations in front of the Arsenal fans last week.

Togo striker ran the length of the field to celebrate Eastlands against Gunners supporters after scoring in a 4-2 Premier League Manchester City win sparked a furious reaction from fans of his former club.

Arsenal legend Henry, now in Barcelona, has criticized the actions Adebayor. He told the Sunday Mirror: "The fans were great at Arsenal. They were and always will be my family. I've never seen to react badly behaved as they did over the weekend shows just how angry and upset they were. No matter Adebayor what emotions were, could have gained a great respect for not celebrate the goal.

"That would have shown real class and to be honest is what most players do when choosing a goal to their old clubs. I really do not understand why he did not."
Henry added: "Arsene (Wenger) is a great investment in yourself when you see the talent and do not think this could damage Adebayor to show him the club and the fans a little respect."....[source]
