Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill is optimistic Richard Dunne will complete a £6million move within the next 24 hours.
Manchester City captain Dunne to O'Neill held talks Friday morning in the resort of Villa Bodymoor Heath training after the two clubs agreed a fee for the Republic of Ireland international.
O'Neill wants to further boost its defense options after completing the signing of Blackburn left-back Stephen Warnock for about 7 million pounds on a Thursday.
